Missions
Kennewick First UMC supports a variety of missions, both local and global. Our community has many in need and each of these groups provide a vital ministry to those that they encounter. Please click on each link to be taken to their website to see how you can help or volunteer.
Soul Soup – Prepare and serve supper, welcome the hungry. Thursday evenings , 5:00 pm at the church or make burritos for the nearby street ministry every 3rd Sunday.
Tri-Cities Food Bank – Your gifts of non-perishable foods, personal items, household cleaning & paper products may be placed in the shopping carts in our lobby. We will deliver them for you to the Food Bank.
Tri-Cities Chaplaincy – Providing help in life’s most difficult times.
B5 Learning Center – B5 delivers educational classes and after-school programs.
UMCOR – Alleviating suffering all over the world.

Hospice House, Foster First (special needs foster children), Amistad Elementary, Second Harvest, Fields of Grace (gleaning for food banks), World Relief Refuge Support, S.H.A.K.E.(Seniors Helping All Kids Education) School Supplies, PAVE (Bread Tabs for Wheels, and Special Olympics), Martha’s Cupboard (personal needs through CUP), TROT (equine therapy), Grace Kitchen (food handlers career training), Mirror Ministries (fighting human trafficking) Tri-City Union Gospel Mission, Cork’s Place (children’s grief), Grace Clinic (low income medical care), My Friend’s Place-Support Advocacy Resource Center, ECEAP, Chaplaincy Health Care, Atlantic Street Center (support Families raising kids), Tacoma Community House (immigrants, refugees, residents), World Thank Offering (UWF), KFUMC Pastor’s Discretionary Fund, Jamaa Letu Orphanages, Nepal Missionary Katherine Parker, HUGS (hats, underwear, gloves, socks), Souper Bowl of Caring.
