Programs & Classes

Education Programs

In addition to our Sunday school classes for children, youth, and adults, we offer a variety of learning opportunities through our Tuesday night Cornerstone classes. Under the leadership of our Education Director, Cynthia Bement, facilitators lead classes on topics relevant to our lives. These 6 to 8 week courses cover everything from book studies to 'How-To' courses and more. See the Cornerstone page to get more details and to register for classes!

Music Program

Amberley Almarode, is our new Music Director, leads the Chancel Choir, and has also begun rehearsals for the Christmas Cantata.

Sing 'n' Ring Children's Choir is on Tuesday afternoons at 5:15 pm. See  the  accompanying Music page for more information on our music programming, including rehearsal times.

You may call contact Amberley to join the Chancel Choir through the email at office@kennewickfirst.com.

Bus Ministry

Our Bus Ministry is fours years old now and although it's a relatively new program, it is a well-oiled machine! With dedicated leaders and drivers, our 2 Sunday morning buses deliver folks to both worship services and Sunday School class. One of the 15 passenger buses is equipped with a wheelchair lift and both are great fun to ride and drive! This service is available for everyone who desires a ride to worship at Kennewick First every Sunday morning. Please call our Bus Coordinator Melissa Nickolaus at 551-3008 if you would like a lift!

Tape Ministry
We also have a Tape Ministry for those who miss a Sunday or who cannot get out for Sunday Services. Our volunteer 'servant' for this ministry is Don Meyers. You may call Don at 586-4244 and he will provide you with a cassette tape of the particular service you want along with a bulletin for that day.

Use this form below if you would like more information on our education, music or bus ministry or if you would like to schedule a bus ride for Sunday morning or ask for a tape of a Worship Service.
