Funeral & Memorial Services
We at Kennewick First United Methodist Church share in your sadness at the loss of your loved one. Even though no one can take away your grief, we do know the value of a caring community during such a time. As a church, we want to do everything possible to support you in your loss and make the funeral or memorial a time of appropriate grieving, as well as a time of hope.
The church is pleased to host funerals or memorial services in our sanctuary, chapel or youth chapel, in coordination with our pastors.

The sanctuary seats up to 300 people and is a more formal setting. With larger funerals, our overflow room can seat an additional 50-60 people.

The chapel is a lovely setting for a small service of 20 people.

The youth chapel is another option and can seat 75 people.

The funeral home you choose can help you with the arrangements and will contact the church on your behalf, if you wish. The pastor will then meet with you to help plan the type of service you desire. We will be happy to assist you in any way we are can.
